JAKARTA (Dow Jones)--Thermal coal producer PT Bumi Resources' (BUMI.JK)

first-quarter revenue may rise by 20% to $1.2 billion from $1.0 billion a year

earlier, thanks to an increase in its average coal selling price, an official

at the Indonesia Coal Mining Association told Dow Jones Newswires.

The average price for thermal coal rose 27% to $80 a ton from $62.88 a ton

in the first three months of 2010, said the official, who declined to be

named.

Bumi's coal sales volume declined slightly due to wet weather, he said,

without providing a figure for sales volume.
