JAKARTA (Dow Jones)--Gold and nickel miner PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM.JK) said

Friday its first quarter net profit rose 72% to IDR346.6 billion from IDR201.1

billion a year earlier because of higher sales.

Sales for the first three months of the year rose 20% to 1.99 trillion from

1.66 trillion a year earlier.
